TECHNOVA 2027 is open to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students from any accredited college or university worldwide. Recent graduates (within 1 year of graduation) and high school seniors aged 18+ are also warmly welcome!
100% Free! Registration, meals, snacks, midnight pizza, energy drinks, official hoodies, swag packs, and mentorship access are completely free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors.
Teams must consist of 2 to 4 participants. Every track is built for collaborative problem solving, and solo participation is not permitted. If you don't have a team yet, we will host a dedicated Team Formation & Mixer session before hacking starts, as well as matchmaking on our official Discord server.
Absolutely! We have dedicated beginner-friendly workshops, roving mentors to assist with debugging, and dedicated track guidance. Hackathons are the best place to learn at warp speed.
No. In accordance with fair-play arcade guidelines, all project source code, design assets, and functional logic must be written fresh during the official 24-hour hackathon window. You are free to use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks.
You do. You and your teammates retain 100% full ownership and copyright of your creations, code repositories, and designs. Technova and its sponsors claim zero equity or ownership.
Bring your laptop, charger/power brick, valid student ID, any hardware or microcontrollers you plan to use, a refillable water bottle, and sleeping bag/toiletries if you plan to nap on-site in the quiet chill rooms.
